Title Research as Infrastructure, Not a Vendor Relationship
At enterprise volume the research itself stops being the bottleneck. What costs you time is everything around it, the ordering, the status chasing, the rekeying, and the reports that arrive as attachments and stop there.
The cost that scales is coordination
One title order handled by email is a minor inconvenience. Ten thousand of them is a department. The work that grows with volume is not the abstracting, which we can staff across every U.S. county. It is the ordering, the status chasing, the rekeying of results into a system that already held the address.
So the platform is built to remove coordination rather than to showcase automation. Orders arrive from your systems, states flow back to them, and research lands as data your pipeline can act on. It is documented in depth across the AFX technology platform, which serves every property in the network including this one.
None of it is a precondition. Buyers who prefer a browser and a PDF get exactly that, at the same turnaround.
What the platform does
- REST API ordering: Place, pause, cancel, and retrieve orders from your own system. Token-based authentication, audit logging, and a sandbox, with no SDK to adopt and no schema to negotiate. Learn more about REST API ordering
- Webhook status push: Outbound events update your systems as orders change state, so nothing polls and nobody calls to ask. The full event catalog is published rather than negotiated per client. Learn more about Webhook status push
- Portal management: Multiple users, departments, and cost centers ordering against one account, with the archive, invoicing, and researcher messaging in one place instead of an inbox. Learn more about Portal management
- White-label reporting: Deliver research under your own brand, with separate templates per product line so a current owner search and a full chain do not arrive looking identical to your client. Learn more about White-label reporting
- Error correction and classification: Validation that scales with volume rather than degrading under it. Thousands of data points revalidated per report, with inconsistencies routed to a researcher before release. Learn more about Error correction and classification
- Structured delivery: PDF where a person reads it and structured data where a system consumes it, which is what lets research feed a pipeline instead of terminating in somebody’s downloads folder. Learn more about Structured delivery
An integrated order, end to end
The integration is webhook based, which means your platform and ours exchange messages as an order changes state instead of checking on each other. A complete order looks like this from your side.
Step 1
property.add
Your system opens the order
A property is submitted programmatically, with no rekeying of an address that already exists in your system of record.
Step 2
200 Order Received
We confirm in real time
An immediate acknowledgment so your platform can stamp the record and move on rather than waiting on a human reply.
Step 3
property.status.update
Your pipeline stays current
Outbound events keep dashboards and queues accurate while county research runs, without anything polling on your side.
Step 4
property.document.upload
Research lands in your systems
The finished report arrives as a document plus a structured abstract, followed by an Order Complete confirmation.
Alongside the event stream, a REST API handles order management, letting your system place, pause, cancel, and retrieve on demand. The published webhook event catalog covers order_submitted, report_ready, report_failed, and status_updated, so your integration is written against a contract rather than against whatever we happened to send last quarter.
Whatever is not integrated runs through the order management portal, which is where multi-department buyers keep shared archives, invoicing, and direct messaging to the researcher on a file.
Your brand on the deliverable
A large share of our volume reaches an end client under somebody else’s name, which is how it should be. White-label report templating puts your logo, colors, and disclaimers on the document, with separate templates per product line where a quick search and a full chain should not look alike.
Where the deliverable is not a document at all, the same research is available as structured data, which is the difference between research that feeds your pipeline and research that terminates in a downloads folder.
Accuracy that does not degrade under load
The failure mode of every high-volume research operation is quality sliding as throughput climbs. Ours is designed against that specifically. Our error correction and classification algorithms run per report rather than per batch, revalidating thousands of data points and flagging inconsistencies for a researcher to resolve before anything is released.
Certified researchers still sign the work. The automation decides what deserves their attention, which is what makes a consistent standard survive the jump from hundreds of orders a month to thousands.
Questions from enterprise buyers
What does an integration actually require from our team?
Less than most buyers expect. There is no SDK to adopt and no schema to negotiate. You send us a property and we send you states and a report. Authentication is token based, a sandbox is available for testing, and most DevOps teams have a working integration inside a day.
What is the difference between the API and webhooks?
The API lets your platform query and manage orders on demand, placing, pausing, canceling, and retrieving whenever you need to. Webhooks push notifications to you as each order progresses, so nothing has to poll. Most enterprise buyers run both together, the API for control and webhooks for awareness.
Can different departments order against one account?
Yes. The portal supports multiple users on a single account with the archive, invoicing, and researcher messaging shared across them, which is usually what a multi-department buyer needs rather than separate logins that fragment the order history.
Does turnaround hold up at volume?
That is what the automation exists to protect. Validation runs per report rather than per batch, so accuracy does not degrade as volume rises, and research capacity spans every U.S. county rather than concentrating in a few. Volume pricing is quoted against your actual mix rather than a published rate card.
How is our data protected in transit and at rest?
Connections are encrypted, API access uses token-based authentication with audit logging, and access to order data is restricted by internal protocol rather than convention. Those controls are part of how the pipeline is built rather than a layer applied over it afterwards.
